There are many ways to take action on this important issue and help make improvements in your community. The good news about diesel pollution is that unlike many other sources of pollution, when we reduce diesel particulate matter, we can start to see immediate results.

Protect Our Health and Our Economy by Reducing Diesel Emissions!

Diesel emissions have been shown to have 3 times the lifetime cancer risk than that posed by all the other hazardous air pollutants combined, but we can fix Michigan’s Diesel threat if we act together!

Take Action Now:

• Ask your U.S. Representative to take action to help reduce diesel pollution by supporting federal Clean Construction policies.
• Urge community institutions like hospitals to require Clean Construction policies.
